About the Preceptorship Program
At our facility, we understand the importance of providing quality education and training opportunities for nurse practitioner (NP) students in psychiatry and family medicine. We are excited to announce that we have expanded our services to include preceptorship placements for both Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) students.
PMHNP Preceptorship Opportunities:
As a PMHNP student, you'll have the chance to immerse yourself in various areas of psychiatry. Our program offers placements in child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, medication management, Tele-psychiatry, psychotherapy, and substance use disorder. By engaging in these diverse settings, you'll gain a well-rounded understanding of mental health care and refine your clinical skills in diagnosing, treating, and managing psychiatric conditions.
FNP Preceptorship Opportunities:
If you're pursuing a career as a Family Nurse Practitioner, our program provides exceptional preceptorship opportunities in family medicine. You'll have the chance to work in all areas of primary care, serving patients across the lifespan. Collaborating with our skilled family medicine practitioners, you'll develop expertise in delivering comprehensive healthcare services, managing chronic conditions, and promoting overall wellness within a family-centered approach.
